Challenge’s participation – better late than never!

This week, I challenged myself to participate more actively through this weeks challenges. I enjoyed the Google maps challenge. For the 1^st layer, the international social media tidbits, I found some fascinating stats about Germany’s social media habits over the past year, and the site can be used to designate between entire regions and continents, to more fine-tuned search results of an individual country. I was having technical issues posting the 2^nd pin on the map for the happy place layer, but then I realized I was too far zoomed in on the map, and when I zoomed out more generalized, it worked! For the happy place, I had a lot of good memories from a European tour my grandmother and I took back in summer 2019, and Switzerland was the highlight of the trip for me, with the natural wonders of the Alps, and the various aspects of the country’s history still hold a lot of good memories for me.
